Front End UI Designer who is passionate about creating semantic HTML that is accessibility focused and crafting CSS code that is modular, flexible, and extensible. Looking for front end UI designer opportunities.
Being both a Front End Developer as well as a UX Designer I understand the value of creating amazing experiences for people that makes their lives better by using products that look great and solves a problem in ways that leave them in a better place than if the solution never existed. Combining my front end development skills with my Visual Design and Graphic Art background, I take pride in having things look great while also being built on a foundation that is structured perfectly for the task the user needs to accomplish. I truly believe taking the time to build things correctly from the start with a solid, flexible, resilient, future focused foundation while keeping them visually appealing is paramount. This saves time, money, and frustration for all involved while also promoting consistency and quality throughout the products being created.
UX designers and software developers often approach their work and deliverables in different ways and often have a hard time communicating. Having one foot in each of these disciplines allows me to act as a bridge that connects these two worlds. I translate the needs of the designers into consumable artifacts that development can just consume and work with without having to worry about design details such as typography or alignment. This is the space I occupy and I take pride in crafting semantic HTML that is accessibility focused and creating CSS code that is modular, flexible, and extensible all while making sure the design integrity stays intact.
